Quake Game Link

I was going to reinstall quake so I went on the net to find a 1.30 pr file and stumbled across a site that will not only has the pr, but gives you an exe file that will install the whole game with whatever pr you desire.

Good to hear from you, wish it was instigated by less grim circumstances, but welcome back none the less.  

Please let us know if that Quake d.l. works for you. Checked with O.P. in T.S. tonight and he confirmed it worked fine, but one or more others were having problems.

Speaking of reasons to have Q3 installed on a personal confuser, are you going to join us for the TDM Saturday?

Wish I could bro, but I got a family now man so I have little gaming time now. I do want to get my q3 up and running but I don't have my config anymore so I would have to make up a new one.

For many this is a fail. For that I apologize. It worked for me just fine and I have no explanation for that.

IF you are going to trust a stranger, then you might compare the size of their exe's with mine.

You can Download Quake from my Google Drive . It is 473 MB.
There are four exes representing four "protocols"
Has default maps only.
You will still need the KOBK map packs as every other map is a custom map.

1. Download the Quake III zip here (link will be in upper left corner of page):
    You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.

2. Save to:
     C:\Program Files

3. Unzip it. This will create the new folder Quake III Arena

4. Download the KOBK map packs from:
      You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.
      You might need to sign up on KOBKclan.com first.

5.  Unzip all maps then move them to:
     C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\baseq3

6. "Go shoot d'em bitches" - check the key binds, etc before first use.

To join KOBK Quake server click on (or create a shortcut to...)
     C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\_kobk.bat
To join DoD Quake server, click on the _dod.bat
You can copy, paste, then edit either to create a new bat file for any other server.

** no protocol switcher needed if you use a BAT file
    If using All Seeing Eye, Qtracker, bat files are not needed, just point to the correct Exe in qtracker.
